FRIKAR has since 2006 revitalized Norwegian folk dance in a playful, curious way, toured 35 countries and collaborated with cultures and artists around the world. Based in Valdres, FRIKAR combines the local cultural heritage with knowledge from breakdance circus, kung fu, contemporary dance and other disciplines. In this workshop you will get a playful introduction to the rhythm and movement qualities of folk dance in addition to the accompanying and ancient acrobatics that can be traced back 3,000 years in Norway.
The workshop is open to all young people from 13 years and adults, regardless of prior knowledge.
