Elena Olson moved from Russia to Norway and Kløfta, at the end of 2002. She has since lived in Ullensaker in various places. She is educated as an art teacher, from the University of Education in St. Petersburg.
Elena is a member of Ullensaker Kunstforening and the UK painting club, and paints on silk, canvas, paper and wall. She uses different techniques, and the image here is on silk fabric, with an abstract motif.
